Schedule is flexible and will change to meet the needs of individuals, the group, and families.
9:00 Arrival: sign in, settle in, and meet at the gathering spot.
9:05 Morning Gathering: may include songs, stories, finger plays, group activity, math and literacy games/activities, or sharing time.
9:20 Daily Planning: we review special activities and explorations that are being offered that day, in addition to the regular offerings.
9:25-10:45 Explorations and Discovery Time: Children make choices to explore and engage in the learning areas of the classroom. Teacher may engage individuals or small groups in planned and playful learning activities.
10:45-11:00 (Or a natural breaking point in children's play) Clean up and gather: Have a share time and may include a read aloud, music, and movement.
The fall 2013 theme/focus is "Me, my family, and my community." There will be visits and interactions with local community members.
Where: First meeting will be at the Heartworks facility. Some classes may be at the YMCA Camp Belknap (1/2 mile away) or other locations. 249 Governor Wentworth Hwy, Mirror Lake NH. This is seven miles north of Wolfeboro.
